DINOSAURS!!

I have been pleasantly suprised at what Facebook has done for my cookie making!  I have been able to share my photos of my cookies and in turn have had friends and family ask me to make cookies for their special events.  It's been a lot of fun so far!

I recently made 4 dozen Dino's for a preschool in my hometown in Kansas.  I was excited to do it and even ordered in some dinosaur cookie cutters!  I love when I have an excuse to order more cookie cutters!

I tied each cookie up in a bag with red ribbon and packed them up to make their journey to KS.

Western Themed Baby Shower

I received my first mail order about a month ago!  (Yes I am behind on my blogging just a tad!!)  I was so nervous about it!!  Sick actually!  But thanks to Sugarbelle and her awesome tutorials I was able to give it a go!

Now shipping was another melt-down moment.  I just new they would arrive in crumbs or melted!  But thanks to lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts they arrived safe and sound!

Was so honored to make cookes for my former neighbors from Western Kansas!

Baby Shower for my little Sister!

Last weekend was my baby sister Molly's first (of probably many) baby shower!  She is decorating her baby room in Dr. Seuss so we went with that theme for her shower!  My Mom and Sister Melanie did most of the work....and I just contributed the COOKIES!!

Decided to try my hand at Cat in the Hat Baby Bottles.

The Shower was a success and a Molly and Tyler received LOTS of good stuff!!

Baseball Banquet Time

Well, the end of the school year is here and Spring Baseball has come to a close.  My Freshman son played on the JV team this year and had a great time.  So good in fact that he is playing Summer Baseball with his High School and will be playing on the Varsity Team!

So my Son asked if I would make cookies for his team and knowing that there were about 12-15 kids on his team I thought...yea sure!!  I was quickly informed that he meant the ENTIRE TEAM...The Freshman C Team, The JV Team and The Varsity Team.  AHHHH!! So this was the largest amount of cookies I have EVER made and decorated!!  Took me 2 days in total...not too bad for the first time with this many!!

Then they were bagged and tied..with the help of my 3 kiddos!

Success!!  And they tasted pretty yummy too!!

Happy Easter!

It's Holy Week and my week includes finishing up Easter Cookies for the neighbors!  Since we are new to the neighborhood I have been trying to win over my neighbors with sugar and butter!! I worked on these Bunnies last night inspired by Callye at Sweet Sugarbelle!

They were fun to make and I think I am finally getting the hang of Royal Icing.  You can find my the recipe I use for Royal Icing under the Recipe Tab.  Tonight I am making another batch of Sugar Cookies so I can work on my little lambs and chicks tomorrow!
